Buck Sargent???

Nice bit of history, thank you. I was at Minot in the 80's and 90's. Our FSC's what you call Security Controllers were anywhere from Senior Airmen to Tech Sgt. Depending on flight manning that week. We didn't have anything called a Senior Security Controller by then.

While I was at Minot they were making the change over from Minuteman II to Minuteman III. They were working down at Abel, Baker, and Charlie; I was assigned to Oscar. A couple of years ago a paid a visit to the National Minuteman Missile Museum at Elsworth AFB. I was surprised at the differences in the design of the LCC at the Ellsworth and the LCC at Minot. The National Park Ranger could not tell me if the changes were due to differences between II and III.
