2027 AFSFA National Meeting Information
We will hold our 2027 National Meeting 30 March – 4 April 2027 in San Antonio, TX!! While there will be slight changes to our normal schedule many of you are used to, mostly adjusting the time and dates for some events, we are keeping the tours, trips, golf tournament, social and banquet. And we will be joining the SF WW attendees for some of the current career field briefings with a joint social and awards banquet.
AFSFA will again be offering the Small-Batch Wednesday tour. Three major event changes starting in 2027 move our normal Thursday night Social to Wednesday night, the base and Security Forces Museum trip from Friday afternoon to Thursday afternoon and the CMSgt Howard Redd Golf Tournament from Thursday morning to Saturday morning.
You can already make your hotel reservations now and I strongly suggest you do. AFSFA National Meeting attendees may reserve their rooms by using the provided hotel online reservation link or calling the reservation line for The Menger Historic Hotel starting on 1 October 2026. Room rates are $169.00 per night. When calling the reservation line, 800-345-9285, make sure you use the group code "AFSFA" to get our rate. Reservations must be made NLT 28 February 2027, after that date the rooms will be released for resale to the public. Rooms will be guaranteed with a major credit card and reservations must be cancelled a minimum of 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a one-night charge penalty. Upon check-in, each member will receive one breakfast voucher for each day of their stay. The voucher is redeemable for the Menger breakfast buffet in the Menger Hotel Colonial Dining Room between 0630-1030 daily. The vouchers must be presented to receive breakfast. The hotel does provide complimentary basic internet service in guest rooms and meeting spaces but does not have an airport shuttle so Uber or Lyft are the best transport options. There is parking nearby but it starts at $30.00 a day. See the National Meeting Information Sheet at the back of this issue for additional information.
There will be an early bird registration. Registration documents will be announced mid-November in a newsletter and will be available on website through an online registration link.
